Gary J. Hoff, EA is an Extension Specialist in Taxation at the University of Illinois Tax School. He is the author of numerous tax education materials, including LLCs Taxed as Partnerships: Formation to Dissolution. He is the editor of the annual Federal Tax Workbook used during the Fall Tax School offered by the University of Illinois Tax School. He presents tax topics nationally, specializing in Agricultural Taxation and Business Taxation topics. Additionally, Gary has over 40 years experience preparing tax returns.
Sue Voth, EA has been a national presenter for National
Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) seminars and has served as an
instructor, author, and reviewer for the University of Illinois Federal
Tax Workbook since 2002. She taught for the Missouri Society of CPAs'
Tax Schools using the University of Illinois Federal Tax Workbook
and teaches for Advanced Tax Practitioner's Institute in the State of
Washington using the same materials. Sue is an enrolled agent (EA) and
has her own tax practice in Quincy, Illinois.
Gaetano J. Capone, MS, CPA has a BS from Pennsylvania State University and a MS of Taxation from Widner
University. He has been employed by the IRS for the last 40 years, assigned as a Revenue Agent in
the Large Business and International Unit auditing mainly corporate & partnership tax returns
with assets in excess of $10 million out of the Wilkes-Barre office. Guy is also a instructor
teaching all phases of Revenue Agent and computer training within the service. He has been
a presenter at numerous seminars and taught accounting and tax courses as an adjunct
professor for several of the colleges within the Wilkes-Barre area and Philadelphia area.
William Bogart MPS, EA is a graduate of St.Bonaventure University with a B.B.A.
degree. He has an M.P.A. from Alfred University. He is an Enrolled Agent. He has taught Accounting
and Tax courses for Jamestown Community College and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He was
an instructor from 1991 to 2000 with the Penn StateTax Institutes and an instructor and Partner in
Tax Pro Seminars from 2000 through 2010. He has had his own business since 1985 as a Tax and Small
Business Consultant specializing in Taxpayer Representation before the IRS. He lives in Emporium, PA
and is married with 3 grown children (all graduates of St.Bonaventure and Alfred University).
Thomas S. O'Saben, EA, CFP has been an education presenter for the University of Illinois Tax School as
well as the National Association of Tax Professionals where he also served as a Training Specialist from
2009 through April of 2011, developing curriculum, writing textbooks, and instructing at educational
seminars. Additionally, he runs his own 20-year-old tax practice in Maryville IL where he provides tax
services for approximately 1,000 clients. He holds degrees in Political Science and Finance from Southern
Illinois University Edwardsville. Tom is a Certified Financial Planner and an Enrolled Agent.
Alice Orzechowski, EA, CPA, CMA holds degrees in economics and accounting from the University of Maryland, and a masters in administration and management from Hood College. Alice is a speaker for several national tax seminar organizations. She is the author of "101 Tips for Maximizing College Financial Aid", "Success Strategies for Understanding and Avoiding AMT", "Tax Planning for College Expenses" and "LLC's from the Beginning".
